'Understanding MOOCs @ the Scottish Parliament' was developed developed in partnership with the Scotland's Futures Forum, by Dr Jen Ross from the University of Edinburgh. Jen was a Beltane Parliament Engagement Fellow in 2013/14, where she one day per week with Scotland's Futures Forum, to assist Parliamentary colleagues around opportunities and issues relating to online and distance learning in Scotland.
Jen is part of the development and teaching team for a number of massive open online courses, including one of Scotland's very first MOOCs - E-learning and Digital Cultures. She writes and researches in this area, and is the co-author of a recent report on the UK MOOC landscape, published by the Higher Education Academy (2014).
